Of course, the ugly parliamentary theater with the decision to increase its own salaries is ugly. Disgusting even! But increasing the salary of the civil servant is not a bad thing. Personally, I want the public servant to be paid well and very well. What I refuse to accept is the extremely high number of public employees. This number that governments, this monist ecattremized, keep high for political and electoral employment purposes. If we analyze the volume of work in public administration, taking into consideration the concessioning and digitization of services, as well as excluding medical personnel and education, they do not justify the salary of more than 1/3 of public employees.

Over 50% of Albanians with the right to vote no longer participate in the elections, because they have left the country. Then why 140 deputies, when 50% have left the decision making?! 71 MPs are enough and let them be paid well. That is, I completely agree, not just with the increase, but with the total structuring of the salaries of public employees. But not with nearly 200,000 employed for political reasons, of which at least 100,000 are parasites.
Think of the state as a private enterprise. Would you be able to hire more than half the people to get a salary?! Bankruptcy would be certain. The number of public employees must be reduced. In the first place, the administrative staff who sit idle. Those who remain should be paid well and we should not have any complexes about it. This reduction would free up financial opportunities for better treatment of public service employees, especially in health and education. This should have been a real wage reform and not dirty populism games.
