The scene is clearly a reference to those children's stories: a young man inside a cauldron and a witch around him waiting to cook him. On this occasion, it is the witch who wants the young man - not so much of a child anymore - to leave her house: "Please leave my house," the not-so-kind old woman asks bitterly. The bait to attract her prey, and what makes him not want to leave his house, is - obviously - Skittles candies. The ad is an idea from the agency DDB Chicago and the production company Smuggler, who have carried out the brand's first official Halloween ad since 2014. Its protagonist is the actor Matty Cardarople, known for his appearances in the third season of Stranger Things and in A Series of Unfortunate Events .
